Over the weekend a skunk crawled underneath our porch and basically skunked our house. Out of desperation we bought this odor remover which of course didn’t work. Candles didn’t work either. If you don’t have skunks in your part of the world, count your blessings!
A skunk was chased under my back steps and went to ground in his tunnel beside the field stone foundation. Then he let off his defenses at whatever was chasing him. The whole house smelled and there was nothing we could do because it was in the air. It was February but we opened up all the windows and froze for as long as we could stand it. That helped some. We were washing whatever we could wash.
The skunk was one we had rescued as a kit and he lived under the stairs after we let him go. So, our fault, really.
