Mini pumpkins

This is the only vegetable I grew this year. You don't eat them of course, but they're fun to decorate with and to give to friends. And they require basically no work. Stick the seeds in the ground and they go crazy.

Why don't you eat them? Do they not have any pumpkin flesh inside? Or don't they taste good?
