Still going through boxes from my dad's last move. The black-and-white photo is from my parents high school yearbook and the color photo is from 1981 at their 40th high school class reunion. Two years before she died. Still tugs at my heart.
I am sure it will always tug at your heart .... I'm beginning to think you carry on and live life normally, but underneath you never stop missing them?
Wonderful to have the photos to help keep the memories fresh. The sadness is part of what makes us who we are and the connections of the people we love.
