Had a break in the work day today when a bunch of fire trucks and other emergency personnel showed up at the building across from my office. Apparently an excavator doing work in the street hit a gas line. Although we could smell gas they told us it wasn’t necessary to evacuate. We decided it might be a good time to grab lunch at the pizza shop down the street away from all the activity.
