There’s a cemetery I often drive by that has a row of beautiful pink flowering trees in the back corner. I stopped today hoping to get a shot of the trees. When I got closer to the grouping of trees, I noticed that the grave markers were small, very close together and there was a lot of little items scattered around in the grass. I quickly realized that all of these graves were for children and babies. There were so many of them. Their loved ones had brought toys, balloons, flowers and even a letter to put on their graves. That’s a heartbreak I can’t imagine.
