Since I had extra time this morning I had breakfast on the back porch. It was so nice and cool which was a big change from the heat and humidity of yesterday. I plan on doing this everyday whenever I retire.....whenever that is.
... changing my comment ...
I've been hung up on the "when I retire" bit lately too. And what I keep reading and being reminded of is that every time I do that, I'm missing out on living life now. So this summer I've been making a conscious effort to do things like get out and enjoy the early morning sun (before people are out!), go out in the evenings after dinner, take advantage of all of the things to do... because who knows, retirement may never come!
@bf2016 I missed your first comment, but you are completely right, there’s no reason not to. I have been trying to do the outside breakfast this summer. And it’s a really nice way to start the day. My own mother didn’t make it to retirement so I know there are no guarantees.
