Dogwood

You can always count on a dogwood tree to give such spectacular color in both fall and spring. I also like the little buds that look like alien heads.

I never noticed the alien heads. I'll have to check out the kousa dogwood across the street. The seed pods are weird enough but if it has alien heads as well, it's trying too hard to be weird. :D
