Alan and I had the brilliant idea of making peanut brittle. We never made it before so we’ll just call this a learning experience. Our candy thermometer apparently didn’t work which was a problem for us newbie candy makers. I know now we didn’t get it hot enough. Its more like extremely sticky toffee that I’m a little afraid to eat. I’m afraid it might pull a tooth out! But it tastes good!
Bet it's delicious, but absolutely with you on the teeth. I lost a crown once due to a Quality Street toffee. The dentist said he loves toffee - brings him lots of patients.
@narayani@anniesue@seacreature I ended up breaking it into little pieces and cooking it down again. I cooked it till it turned a caramel color and somehow it worked. Turned out pretty good!
