This is from one of our last breakfasts. I loved how you’re served your own personal teapot whenever you order tea. So I had tea as often as possible. I also learned that coffee refills are not free as they are in the US.
What no cream? The way I think of scones is with a rim of piped cream around the edge, and a blob of strawberry jam in the middle. But looks delicious and probably healthier than the cream scones of my childhood memories.
@seacreature this was a “no frills” type of restaurant so no, no cream. Although that sounds fabulous! The afternoon tea we did in Glasgow served clotted cream in a little bowl, would that have been the same thing?
