My town is known as Gold City because it's a gold mining town. So maybe there really is gold at the end of the rainbow ;-)

Yes, I know about the heat. Lived in Cairns 8 years, Darwin for 2, PNG for 2, etc etc. But nowhere as hot as Darwin! Finally left Cairns to get a bit cooler...
