@russianblue It is a layer Kass, a piece of paper with the opacity reduced and then erased where the bud is. Easy peasy :) There would be free tutorials on-line if you googled it.
@bella_ss haha ok phew! i am not going krazy then!! sheralee do you find your textures on line that you use for your photos?? i would like to get into using more textures and playing with the opacity etc, but i have no clue where to go to find FREE textures on line. Just thought i would ask! thanks :D
@kdimagery I have some that I've bought but I just googled 'free digital papers' or something like that for this one. @canberrabec said she gets a lot of free ones on-line, that was when I went looking and got this one. I just tried to find where Bec told me but I wasn't able to. She's done some great work with papers. I'm just a novice.

@bella_ss i am a HUGE novice too, when it comes to using textures (or papers as you call them) but i will google and give that a try and see how i make out. haha. I know once i found a couple on line, but to save them to my computer somewhere and then be able to open them in ADOBE after, was another task for me to figure out! hahaha. To bad i didnt have someone to TEACH ME in person, that would be much easier! lol. Thanks again sheralee :D!! i appreciate your help!!

@canberrabec hey rebecca, i googled FREE PHOTOSHOP LAYERS and i was able to find some, but from there i am not fully sure what to do. I thought i downloaded some, but when i go into my photoshop to open them, nothing happens. Is there a trick to this?? haha. Im sorry, i just dont know how to go about getting them into photoshop and open to use on my photos (if that makes sence) hahaha. I find this really hard to explain, sorry :S

@bella_ss i finally got the chance to sit down and watch the link you had sent me! haha. It has helped me out alot, so THANK YOU sheralee! now i will have to try it myself soon!! The main thing i have problems with, is finding textures on line to use and then downloading them for use in photoshop. I have found a few free ones, and once i download them and want to use them in photoshop, they wont open up for me OR i just cant find them. HAHA. SO ya, that is the part i really struggle with right now.......so i still have some learning to do!! i saved your link tho and will be refering back to it when i need it :D So thanks again so much for your help!!!!!
