Happy little Vegemite by bella_ss

Happy little Vegemite

Vegemite is what is on his face. You nearly have to be Australian to appreciate the taste. We are trained to eat it from a young age ;-)

I'm picking up my daughter-in-law and three grandsons tomorrow to come visit us for a few days. I haven't seen them for eight months when the littlest one was born. We will have six children in the house! There may not be any time for 365 :) I'm quite excited to see them.
Nice portrait !!

The first time I heard about vegamite was from the tune "Down Under." Wish they had it in some of our stores so I could at least taste it ;-))) LOL

Oh yes, forgot to add that your little grandson is a real cutie--what an adorable shot. Enjoy your grandkids...know you will be busy but grandkids make cute snaps for the 365 project!

I'm Dutch, but I love Marmite, because I ate it when I was a kid, combined with cheese (Dutch, of course), so I think I would like Vegemite as well. He looks so very cute!

Awww how sweet. He looks like he's got a little beard :o) xx

with those rosie cheeks and curls he'd be perfect in a vegemite ad. Tip to non vegemite eaters - if you do taste it, use only a small amount, don't apply it in a thick layer to your toast or bread, just a think smear is best, never in the same quantities one would use peanut butter or jam

great! Have a wonderful weekend, enjoy the vegemite

Adorable shot. I do hope you have stocked up on your Vegemite supplies with 6 kids in the house. I hope you and your family have a wonderful time catching up.

@cimes1 There will probably be hundreds of photos taken Carole. As for the vegemite, most adults don't like their first taste. See Megan's comment about not using too much :)

@trude Last time we went overseas I was tempted to bring some with me, there was other Australians in our group that did bring some.

@geertje I think if you eat Marmite you could eat Vegemite too.

@psychographer Hehe, it does look like a beard Lisa :0)

@lbmcshutter A lot of people make that mistake Megan and really hate it. I agree, less is more with Vegemite :)

Can't stand vegemite (technically I'm Aussie), but then I hate marmite too (I'm really British)... I'm not convinced he enjoyed the vegemite from the look on his face! :) Nice focus and DOF.

Love the Vegemite face! :) Have a great time with your grandies. Enjoy every moment. I have had my parent's visiting for the past 3 weeks and my kids (and us) have absolutely loved it.

@alia_801 Haha... That sounds like a challenge to get an 'enjoying Vegemite face'!

@cocorose That's so nice that you've had your parents there. I hope you got some nice grandparent shots with the kids :)
