@girlie To be truthful Robin, we don't celebrate Valentine's, although I think it's lovely that people do. It just wasn't popular here when we were young was it?
@bella_ss Well, truth be told, I never give it a second thought either. I was only saying the other day that I remember decimal currency being introduced on 14 Feb. 1966 and no-one gave a thought to it being St V's day then. Younger people seem to have picked up the custom nowadays, though. It's a purely commercial event as far as I'm concerned.
@girlie I agree Robin, but that's also how Christmas has become, unfortunately. I love seeing people care more about the little things, but I guess that's just because I'm getting OLD! lol
