I really like the pattern and texture in this - great how the tree is framing the pic! You've done well! Don't worry, once the weather warms up a bit (and my hands won't fall off frozen) I'll be hitting the streets. You can also try focusing on a building that just happens to have a person in front of it. Then, it looks like you are just taking a pic of the building. Also look for leading lines - which helps draw you in to your subject. Look at me - talking like I have all this experience - haha!
