My Get Pushed partner Belinda @obmcreations challenged me to take a macro shot of an eye, human or animal. 2 and 4 year olds don't stay that still! Oh that is very cool, Sheralee. Seems I picked something from your "bucket list" - perfect for the 4th week of macro March. Lovely detail and that reflection is great. Very neat choice of title as well. Well done, Sheralee. :)
I like b&w better of the two. You might need a tripod so you get super sharp focus on the eye and eyelashes and did you have enough light here? Looks like you might be in the shade?
Because of the crop, I like this photo better in b&w. That said, I love the color of the eye and think it's fantastic. Maybe a different pov would make a difference in a color shot. Either way, this shot is lovely.
