I had intentions of trying to capture refractions in bubbles but they were too hard to focus on so I decided to try some panning. I was quite impressed with how clear Jackson is but still capturing some movement in the grass and background.
Panning with a child would have to be a real challenge but you've accomplished it marvelously here. Darling picture.
Yes, the little quail is mine. She's not much on interacting (okay, not at all) but is a joy to watch as she scuttles about on her daily business of who knows what. Button quail come in a surprising number of colors and markings. I have another that's nearly all black with some rusty brown around his neck. The two make a smart-looking couple.
