This open air theatre is one of only a few remaining in Australia. I visited this theatre when it was showing the latest movies years ago and we would always hope it wasn't going to rain that night. These days it only runs classics once a week in tourist season but it is still quite an experience. I wonder if anyone still rolls Jaffas down the aisles.
You have a knack of bringing back memories of when my family moved around Queensland. This must be in Winton on the main street up by the North Gregory Hotel? Seldom rains there. :) Wonderful image in B/W.
@frankhymus It sure is Frank! You did get around didn't you? It does seldom rain and seems even more seldom at the moment. I have been in the theatre when it's raining though, not too bad if it's summer. I used to dread the trip to Winton over the dirt road, thankfully it's bitumen now and quite a pleasant drive.
