My three kids and their families surprised us when we got home by lighting up the tamarind tree with fairy lights. It is so pretty!
Babies are only born here in absolute emergencies so my daughter and her husband had to make the hour and half trip to the city at 3am when they realised a baby was on the way. Amelia and Ollie spent the night with us so we enjoyed the fairy lights in the cool of the night.
I now feel tearful for you! ( happiness!) what a beautiful tree. I ate tamarinds yesterday for the first time so it's lovely to see the tree. My daughter had to travel for 4 and a half hours to get to her hospital for the birth of her son. We were more worried than she was. She does live in the middle ofthe South Island in NZ though. Have a wonderful time with the new addition to your family.
