A flock of budgies flying by. This was taken when we were in Winton, western Queensland. The budgerigars had just arrived in town and we spent quite a few hours trying to catch some shots. David grew up here so he knew all the spots to go to find them.
Nice capture Sheralee.I saw them on a trip delivering 4 wheelers etc with the motor bike shop.I never knew that they were green in the wild untill then.
Ah this brings back memories of our years living and working in NW Qld and seeing the massive swarms of green in waves across the sky. Great capture Sheralee and I definitely know a budgie smuggler when I see one :))
Nice shot Sheralee. I was lucky enough to see some fairly large flocks around Winton back in the late 1990s. I used to breed budgies as a kid and seeing a large flock in the wild was always one of the things on my bucket list
