Lava fields and steam vents.

If you look closely you can see the snow which doesn't really go with lava fields. This was in the northern part of Iceland and a much colder area. We have now made our way back down south to a much more reasonable 10C... It almost feels warm ;)
The big steam vent in the back was absolutely whistling so loudly.

@peterlgrave yes, it is Peter. They have geothermal power and heating. Most houses are heated by the geothermal water.
