Camels in the outback

Taken in western Queensland. Camels were introduced in Australia in the 1800s and there are now 100s of thousands of feral camels in Australia.
I like this image, typical of so many areas of the outback.

Wonderful shot.When we did our helicopter trip to Kings canyon the pilot had taken an Arab out looking for camels to purchase.I thought that they would be for riding but the pilot said that they eat them !!!
