I've been away for a few days on a photography workshop. It was a crazy thing to do in the hottest month of the year. Apart from Lesley @lelc and I barely surviving the heat, Lesley ate toxic fish and fell sick almost immediately after dinner on our first night. She missed the first half of the day trip but managed to drag herself to the last half. I was very lucky as I ate the same fish as her. We still have another day of the workshop so I won't be around for a couple more days. This was taken from my hotel balcony, I liked all the shadows from the runners.
Thank you so much for helping put my "Charlotte and Teddy" on the Top 20.
Thankful - that I didn't also get Ciguatera from the fish.
Lovely diagonal lead in, your eye drawn to follow the runners through the image full of light and colour, sorry to hear about Lesley but please you din't get Ciguatera sound nasty:)
Lovely composition and perspective here. Sounds as though life is full of mixed blessings at present! Avoid the fish and enjoy the remainder of your workshop!
@eyesmile No, it was coral trout, a reef fish that eats smaller fish that feed on plants that are sometimes toxic. There's no way of knowing if the fish is contaminated, cooking doesn't destroy the toxins.
great PoV
