My husband went to throw some rubbish in the bin. We have a rope to pull the lid open to drop the rubbish from the top of the landing. The snake was on the railing and slithered into the nearby shrub. I probably would have screamed but he called me in case I wanted to take a photo which I obviously did. He's a harmless green tree snake and only very small.
Nice capture Sheralee.We had a large snake on back verandah.I think the only good snake is a dead one but this one disappeared under the house i think and I now have a frightened wife as she cannot move quickly due to her disability.
