These shields were carved and painted in 1995 and represent shields used by the Idinji Rainforest Aboriginal people near Cairns, North Queensland. (see yesterday's photo)
Lovely perspective, colours and detail Sheralee, really like the letter box format and inclusion of David adding balance to the image, btw they do look very impressive don't they:)
