I was given this dragon fruit so thought it might be good for Flash of Red - texture and pattern. It's actually quite smooth with lots of tiny seeds. The flavour is quite bland but okay. This one is home grown and apparently a bought fruit has more flavour. The whole fruit is really pretty and unusual looking.
@annied It's still raining on and off Annie. We won't get out of here for a few more days. I have two friends that have missed eye operations and a friend that has had to be choppered to receive dialysis. Medical emergencies are the worst but people are usually choppered out for those anyway. I'm still enjoying the rain because when the sun was out briefly yesterday it was pretty hot! Next week we will all be complaining about the heat again ;)
