scolding and chirping

staccato now song

winged singers

in bushes

on branches

silence their rhythms

impossibly red

I stood out among the wrens, chickadees, cardinals, tufted titmice and let my ears inhale spring as my eyes saw only winter.

For the Record,
This day came in with 4 inches of fresh powdery snow, and chilly temps due to the brisk wind. The skies are blue, next snow, Tuesday night, it's never ever going to stop!!
