watercolor clouds
dappled gray,
warm cream, pastel blue
briefly cloak in
sunrise, sunset silk
a once sea going vessel.
vanishing now, wrecked,
mired, she sails to nowhere,
tide to tide, day to day
so drably dressed
in river mud
