We had a majestic buck stop by this afternoon for some tasty leaves and pumpkin this afternoon. He was so handsome, stayed quite while, had a limp, but seemed to be managing okay.
I spent the morning preparing and cooking some of the vegetables and the cranberry sauce for the feast tomorrow.
The turkey will be arriving, ready for our oven with our guests tomorrow morning. Before they arrive, Sarah and David, Nora and Hunter will have a quick breakfast with us. They'll have dinner with David's sister and Greg. My brother, Clark and sister in law, Donna are at our summer place in Machiasport and will be eating their turkey dinner with old friends.
For the Record,
This day came in cloudy and warm. None of the rain that was predicted. We're hoping for good weather tomorrow when Jacob and Logan arrive with their parents. Merry has a busy day ahead of her.

I am going next door to my niece's for appetizers - I am making cheese fondue. But coming home after. Her house will be crowded and I like doing the appetizer thing for these big holidays. I get to visit and then come home to peace and quiet.
