This day came in absolutely perfect, warm sunny, dry and breezy. We sat out on the patio all day reading, watching chipmunks, hummers and The Wren from Carolina. A perfect Labor Day with no labor. We enjoyed the leftovers from the party last night and cold VT beer from the Trapp Family Brewery. I had the pleasure of meeting Maria Von Trapp at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe while having dinner back in the 70s with my Swedish friend, Suzanne. As a complete devotee of the Sound of Music film it was a thrill.
