Today we're celebrating 28 years together. We've been side by side since 1992, meeting first in 1989. On New Years's Eve , 2013, we celebrated our legally sanctioned wedding in front of close stateside and international friends and family. The service was celebrated by two amazing UCC ministers on a labyrinth with the following reception held in the charming James Library in nearby Norwell, MA. We invited folks back to Dogcorner after and the celebration went into the wee hours. We gobbled scrumptious Swedish Pancakes expertly made by Lasse, one of our beloved Swedish 'family' visiting us for the occasion. Huge sparklers on the fire pit ended the evening with glittering light . Brunch the next day was just as much fun. The Swedes, including a three year old, and our BB from California stayed with us and at my brother and sister in laws, so it was fun before and after the wedding. We had close friends from Maine and Vermont to, it was just the best late December/January ever.
T has the day off and we have plans to walk along the beach washed in the salty scents and sounds of the Atlantic. There will be some lobster on the menu as well, a double celebration since I start a 5 day diet prep for a routine colonoscopy tomorrow :(

Congratulations! 28 years is nothing to sneeze at ~ wishing you both 28 plus, more years of bliss and joy. We need to flood the world with light and love.
