We took a drive south to Winter Harbor today. First we poked around a bit in an antique shop and a hardware shop more like an old fashioned Five & Ten of my 50s and 60s childhood. After a perfect lobster roll lunch, we took a drive through the Schoodic Peninsula, the less crowded portion of Acadia National Park. It's a familiar drive for us and we stopped to watch and listen to the waves pounding and spraying the rock ledges. It was a wonderful afternoon in some of our favorite places.
