It was cooler today. T and I just said it's suddenly beginning to feel like November. There are still green leaves on the Norway maples, but the Shagbark leaves that were glowing yellow are beginning to fade , curl and drop. The red Sassafras leaves are dropping as well. The nights are getting colder and the Juncos, also known as Snowbirds, have arrived.
Boston elected the first woman, and a woman of color as well in the mayor's election last evening. Congratulations to Michelle Wu.
I still have a sore arm and a slight headache, but I am so relieved to have had my Covid booster and High Dose Flu shot yesterday. Thank goodness for modern science and vaccine research.
