Fall reflections at Forge Pond

The local foliage has been a bit disappointing this year. Then the storm damage ruined many trees and the lovely colored leaves. I was surprised today when we drove by Forge Pond and saw the colorful reflections from the street. We drove into the park beside the pond so I could take some photos. I was pleasantly surprised to also see one of the resident swans as well. The soft late afternoon light was lovely. Again, it's a shot taken by the iPhone 13ProMax. My trusty old Nikon D90 and Leica SL are jealous at home. It just comes down to the camera you have with you. I would not trade the others, but I am quite pleased with the camera upgrade with this iPhone.

For the Record,
This day came in sunny and cool. We'll have another even harder frost tonight. I painted with my painting mates via Zoom today, two were in Florida, but complaining that it was cool and rainy. I started a still life painting from a photo with the giant apples I picked in Maine. I have another finished painting that I'm waiting to gift. When I do, I'll post it.

All hands a bit less wary.
Beautiful capture
