For the past 19 months I've been the lucky recipient of hot black coffee delivered to the bedside. T is working from home and rises earlier than I and makes the coffee. It was quite cold outside this morning and chilly in the bedroom as well. I captured this steam rising from my coffee mug while cuddled under my cozy Swedish duvet. I snapped this quickly and realized it would work perfectly for a Mono Monday shot. A bit of a change up from the natural colors I've been trying to photograph, but a true chilly autumn shot.
For the Record,
This day came in chilly with bright sun. The birds are feeding heavily and the yellow Norway Maples are finally beginning to shed their yellow leaves. They are the last trees to change from green to autumn yellow around Dogcorner Cottage. They are invasive, but a lovely when they wear their yellow leaves.
