Mama Sparrow by berelaxed

Mama Sparrow

She just delivered a tasty bug to her nestlings and is off again to hunt for more. Papa is doing the same.

We had a thrill last night, a gray fox visited the patio and was helping himself to peanuts!! I have seen red foxes, but never a gray one, although they are common, but elusive in Massachusetts. My niece, Sarah who lives through the woods has seen two and red foxes as well. The gray fox is sometimes called the cat fox, it has a cat-like face with a huge fluffy tail!!

For the Record,
This day came in sunny. We worked in the garden and surrounding woods , cutting, trimming and exhausting ourselves. The underbrush creeps in every spring.

All Hands tired.
You have wonderful visitors to your cottage.
