The station has that lovely old-world look about it and I was going to say that I fully expected to see a steam train coming along. Then I looked it up on the internet and saw that that is exactly what would come along as it is a heritage railway! Beautiful shot! It has taken me back to my childhood.Fav

@jtookey150 Thanks Jean - a lovely little town - .always busy , a riverside walk , a canal ,which takes you over the highest aqueduct in Wales , A large concert Pavilion where the International Eisteddfod is held annually , where people from all over the world come to compete in sing & dance
This is lovely. It looks like a toy station with model trains until you see the river. You have brought back some good memories. I can remember when all stations looked a little bit like this. Now in our area they are just barren windswept areas with transparent bus shelters on them. :(
@dandolo Thanks I know exactly what you mean As a child our main public transport was by steam trains & I used to love a trip to the sea side not only we'd bring home sand filled sandals but also smut covered faces !! This one is a Heritage steam railway that takes you through the beautiful Vale of Llangollen
