Ooh dear !! I haven't even given an explanation to my photos tonight !! Well it's been that kind of week !! Yesterday Gary had to go to hospital to have his 4 wisdom teeth taken out under general anaesthetic . He was ever so nervous so I took him in for mid -day ,stayed with him until he went to theatre at about 2.00 p.m As I was told he would be only a couple of hours I decided not to go home but to go to the hospital restaurant and lingered over a bite to eat Returned to the ward afer an hour or so he was wheeled back in still slightly dazed !! there were 3 stages before he could come home 1) He needed to drink a glass of cold water 2)was given a warm drink 3) was given bowl of soft food (Weetabix in milk ) Discuss care & medication to bring home with him
We finally got home just after 7.00 pm I was exhausted & managed to just see to him after coming home before dropping off to sleep During this time Alfie had been waiting & looking out for us !!
Every time I see Alfie, I think that maybe my next dog will be an Alfie dog instead of the golden retrievers I've had for 16 years. He's so darn sweet!!

Sometime he drives me mad with his barking --all for attention but then he is forgiven after all he is a rescue dog & was 2yr old when we had him & all his bad habits !! Gary is doing well taking antibiotics ,analgesics, mouth-wash & eating soft foods He is more with it today & fancies going out tomorrow !! As for me -full of pain but managed to plant out a few bedding geraniums this afternoon thank you all for your comments for wising Gary well And for the FAVS --THANK YOU SO MUCH :-))
Hope Gary is doing okay?
