Pondarosa

Pondaros is a cafe & gift shop at the top of the HorshoePass --A steep & winding road leading up from Llangollen The Pondarosa is at week ends a haven for bikers with their stunning & gleaming bikes
Yesterday at the end of the day it was quiet there --only the sheep & a few bikers & tourists for company .
Had a super MUG of coffee + a gorgeous piece of Carrot cake which should have been a no,no, for a diabetic !!--but occasionally -abit of what you fancy does one good !!!!

I bet this place is a welcome retreat for many a weary biker/tourist. The carrot cake sounds wonderful too. It is necessary to have a little something special now and again isn't it? It's the same for me with the occasional glass of wine which I'm not really supposed to have very often due to my RA medication!!
