I think you are quite right Beryl if it is good to start with don't mess it up! Sometimes a shot has possibilities if processed that are not there otherwise, or perhaps we are looking to say something other than what is obvious.
Some of our 365 pals do amazing stuff in editing and who is to say don't. But a good shot in the first place wins it every time for me!
