Haygate field by beryl

Haygate field

You have seen this view from my bedroom window many a time before , and the beautiful old Oak trees and green land !! I wonder if this will be the last season we will see this field as it is today We have been fighting hard to keep this fields but the planners have other idea !! The Council planners have agreed for this field to be built upon in the region of 300+ houses !! I do not know where is the sense when there is brown land around that can be developed !! - but I suppose it is easier and more cost effective to build here than on the other !! Sorry I could rant on and on etc- - - - So from time to time please bear up with me if you see "MY" field popping up on my page from time to time !!!!!
Beautiful shot

Oh I too get mad about building on beautiful hay meadows when there are brown sites nearby, I think for every field they go in they should have to use two brown sites, that would slow 'em down! :O)

Your field is gorgeous and I don't blame you for the rant. We are fighting solar panels at the moment ....

Lovely as it is, Beryl. We have a development planned for a field across the road from us - soon we shall all be like sardines in a tin..............

Such a shame to build on it I too would be furious. A lovely shot of your field and trees.

Sorry I was so busy looking at the photo I didn't read the words. I remember this field now.....that is sacrilege to build on there but the same thing is happening here round the Garstang area. The bits of green land between villages is getting built on , all merging into one large town. No extra doctors or schools in the pipe line just s pub!! You rant all you like!

Oh, it will be so sad if this is built on Beryl.. We have a field between our house in South Shields and Cleadon Village. It is green belt land so should be safe. If not we would eventually sprawl into Sunderland

I always hate to hear of stories like this. We have so much country land around here that is disappearing

A lovely capture, I hope the field remains untouched, I know the odds are against it but I am hoping nature wins out.

Sorry to here you will be losing your field, totally agree with you that often there seems no sense in decisions made and people and nature lose out :(
