At Blist Hill Open air museum

Catching up on today and yesterday - I didn't take my camera out as I have been trying to getting to grips with some housework takes a long time in between bouts of pain and sleeping . Gary has been a great help as he has been home today -- so we managed to take down the curtains in the Hall ,dining room and lounge and hang up fresh ones and now Gary is hovering for me ! This poto I got off Gary's camera --hence all the dates are wrong !! (Taken last month )
Looks a fascinating place to visit. Fav

Beautiful stone work Beryl.....that building has seen some history! Do hope you are feeling better soon......you do suffer so. Good for Gary helping his mum......bet you cooked him something nice though! Lousy job taking down & putting up curtains!

We have a disused Brick Works in our area; similar to this photo. These sort of buildings conjure up all sorts of thoughts - the people who went in to work there every day, how did they source the raw materials, where did the products get to and so forth. Nice photo.

Super capture Beryl we visited Blist a couple of years ago and have Beamish near to us which is similar. Remember no-one else notices you need to do housework as much as you do! Ignore what you can.
