Purple haze

I do not know the name of this flowering plant -- but it is one of the aquilegia family. The flower followed by the seed heads seem to last all summer !
NB Thank you Julia @julzmaioro for naming this plant for me as Thalictrum -- I never knew the name of it ,as it was a root I got from my mother's garden !

This is called Thalictrum.. it is very pretty.. this is the double version the is also a single version.. also love the maiden hair fern like leaves.. lovely shot.
