I went to the garden centre yesterday A lovely afternoon out with my friend until while having a cuppa I had stabbing pain in my leg We got home and I was in severe pain, a bruise and a lump quickly increased to the size of an egg at the back of my leg -I telephoned Shrop doc ( out of hours Dr service ) and as I was immobile a Dr came out -- a burst vein !! so now rest the leg and take pain killers .This morning it is less painful ! My apologies for not commenting on all your lovely photos yesterday !
A day of squally showers -- the leaves swirling in the wind -- the trees will soon be bare !! so I shall not feel guilty sitting with my leg up !

That would be so painful Beryl. I regularly used to have tiny burst littke blood vessels in my fingers when I carried metal buckets with milk in for the calves. The pain as the blood leaked out into the finger was really sore. You could see the blood in a blue looking swelling. Makes you wonder how it happened while just sitting there, at least mind had a reason! Hope it's getting better!
