In the bleak mid-winter

In spite of the wind and rain -- the field and its trees look beautiful ( next public enquiry into the future of the fields comes in Feb ) So dreary outside I didn't manage to view much of your works or up load a photo yesterday .
I did manage to defrost the freezer yesterday afternoon -- a job well overdue and a must before Christmas
Beautiful dreariness.

A lousy job to do in this cold weather Beryl! I was thinking about your field the other day, so many planning applications in our area now....Garstang will double in size if they have their way! Even littke Great Eccleston is not immune with lots of houses planned in various places.

A very wintery shot, bare trees look so beautiful. We don't get many winter trees here but we get a lot of bare ones. Usually they have been hit by lightning and died.

Lovely shot. I am trying not to count the days to spring, as winter has not officially started. However, my winter whining started today.
