Another Christmas tree in the pub where we had lunch the other day --I do love the decorated and lit Christmas tree . This year I have decided just to have my little fibre optics tree in the living room and not to put up the big tree in the Conservatory -- this makes things easier for myself ! although at the same time saddens me ! and breaks with the tradition of many years !
Pretty Christmas capture, Fibre optic trees are fascinating with the changing colours. I have a 7ft tree to decorate I think it will take me all week .
Sometimes circumstances mean we have to do things a bit differently and that can be so hard. My Mother-in-law does the same now with a little fibre optic tree even though her daughter who lives locally has volunteered to put up her old tree. I know she feels it's too much for her daughter to do at such a busy time of year. All that said your fibre optic tree looks lovely and has a warm glow.
understand, somehow things change with the times. If there are no children of appropriate ages, it seems almost a waste to put up a huge tree. Sad that some traditions are no longer practiced in the computer era
Sad when you have to break with traditions. We are having a smaller tree this year as we are having a quiet Christmas and it seems ridiculous to have the huge tree we've always had when we won't have a house full. I'm convincing myself it's still going to be a good Christmas. just different!
I must admit Beryl, the putting up,of the tree is looking at me a bit this year. I am taking it in stages this year which hopefully isn't going to be such a big job. It encourages me as I like to have the house looking nice for the visitors so I will get there in the end. Your tree will give you lots of pleasure Beryl & fibre optics have some beautiful colour changes.
I`ve nothing to say/decide about it. My wife and children love`s it so there is a tree in our room.
