This beautiful winter heather is growing in abundance by the garden pond . and gives a beautiful patch of purple while other plants are dormant . The clump has grown rather large as I do not know when and how to prune it in case I end its life !
@wendyfrost Thanks -I had read this , but still afraid to do so as (a), I can be rather heavy handed !! and (b). so easy to go to the old stems that have not been pruned for years -- it must have been planted over 30 yrs ago !! May try at the end of the flowering period !
