One of the euphorbias I have in the garden this one is quite showy . I have always called it euphorbia but apparently it is commonly known as "Mrs Robb's bonnet" !!!! My cataract op was done and dusted on Tuesday , and I think all went as expected -- still rather sore and blurred vision -- so glad I had one or two photos taken on Monday in readiness to cover for a few days !
oh Beryl fav fav fav!
in the last 12 months I have fallen in love with Euphorbias and every time I go to a plant fair, garden show or nursery I look for new specimens - I have about 7 or 8 - I want to get the old fashioned thorny one.
Are the flowers here fully open or is it the buds?
I think this photo is totally suitable for your post cataract op. The uncovered red jewels are almost an example of your newly uncovered eyes! So glad all went well, I knew it was soon but you kept the date quiet Beryl!
Beautiful euphorbia, I have not seen one like this before, lovely shot with the water droplets. Glad your op went well i'm sure you'll soon be enjoying much improved sight.

Hope the soreness soon goes.
