Hot Cross Buns

A Happy Easter Time to you all . The Hot Cross Bun is a spiced sweet bun with dried fruit and marked with a cross on the top It is traditionally eaten on Good Friday in the UK, Australia , New Zealand , South Africa , Canada ,India and I am sure you will name a few more countries they are eaten ! Being Good Friday I have just enjoyed my hot cross bun with my coffee !! (elevenses !!)

We used to eat just one for breakfast and one for tea with fish and chips at lunch time when I was young. I'm not so holy nowadays. They look good :)
