Thistle and cobweb

So sweltering hot -no sign of rain or thunder storm to alleviate the heat -- and I am well and truly sapped !! My apologies if I do not manage to write decent comments !! bot I completely lack mojo in taking photos or comment at the moment !!

Beautiful closeup and composition. A certain type of thistle is the bane of my husband's existence as he tries to keep them out of his native prairie on our land. Although he does say "a day cutting thistles is better than any day working"
