A piggy-back by beryl

A piggy-back

I found this rather beautiful snail slithering along on the garden wall behind some plants . I find them fascinating creatures - and could just sit there watching it slowly moving along , and so sensitive to any movement around him . but hate the destruction they do to my garden plants !!!
After I took this photo I discovered that there is a tiny red spider having a piggy back or a free ride on his shell !! -- It must be a hop on-and-off service !!!!
I see the spider! Well captured. Snails and slugs are doing a lot of damage in our garden this year and the snails seem to be able to climb up to the hanging baskets and eat those plants too. They're NOT my favourite creatures.
